Advertising Disclosure
Last updated 23 October 2026
This page says how money, advertising and commercial relationships touch pecan-riverbend.com. It is short on purpose, because the true picture is simple.
The plain statement
- The site shows no third-party advertisements and no sponsored articles.
- It contains no affiliate links. Not one link on any page earns Pecan Riverbend a commission.
- The only thing sold is our own work: the consultation, the planting session and the layout plan, at the prices printed on the offers page.
- The pages load no advertising, remarketing or analytics scripts. You can check this in your browser's developer tools: the only script on a page is the layout library served from this same site, plus the small scripts for the menu and the consent banner.
What we say about trees, nurseries and tools
When a page mentions walnut or pecan cultivars, grafted saplings, stakes or tree guards, the mention is there because it helps with the job. Nobody has paid us to name a variety, and we have no supply agreement with a nursery. If that changes, the page that names the nursery will say so next to the name.
The same goes for the photographs. They are stock pictures chosen to show the kind of work and country we describe. They are not photos of our clients' plots, and the people in them are not our clients or staff. Where an image is only illustrative, the description says what is actually in it.
Prices, wording and claims
- Prices on the site are the prices we charge. There are no struck-through prices, countdowns or limited-time offers.
- We do not publish customer ratings, review counts or awards, because we have none to show yet.
- Years-to-first-nuts figures are ranges from ordinary horticultural practice. They are explained as such on the pages that use them and are not forecasts for your plot.
- Nothing here promises income, yield or the value of land.
A note on the diagrams
The plot diagram on the home page is a drawing we made to explain spacing, the high-water line and the planted bank. It is a teaching sketch, not a survey of a real plot, and the distances on it are typical figures. The drawing carries a caption saying so, and a plan made for your land would show your own measurements instead.
The seasonal tips are general practice for young walnut and pecan trees. They are not a substitute for looking at your trees, and they make no claim about what any tree will yield.
If we start advertising
We may one day buy ads that point to this site. That would be advertising by us for our own services, not advertising shown to you on our pages. If we use conversion measurement or remarketing, then in this order: this page and the Cookie Policy name the tool, the consent switch for it is off until you turn it on, and only then does it run. A visitor who clicks Reject All will not be measured.
The same applies to a future sponsored article or partner link. It would carry a visible label at the top of the page, in the same type size as the text, and we would write who the partner is and what we receive.
Things you will not find here
- Before-and-after photographs of other people's land. We have not published any client project yet, and when we do we will ask the owner first and say where the plot is.
- Quotations from satisfied customers. We would rather show you the shortlist or plan format than a line of praise that you cannot check.
- Rankings and superlatives of any kind: best, cheapest, guaranteed. None of them is something we can prove for a nut-tree adviser working from a single small office.
- Urgent wording such as last places or this month only. The calendar is slow because trees are slow, and a plot enquiry in March is as welcome as one in October.
How we check this page
Whenever the site changes, whoever edits it reads this page next to the change. A new service page, a new price, a new image or a new script each trigger the same questions: does this page still tell the truth, does the cookie page still describe what is stored, does the privacy page still list what we collect. If the answer is no, the legal pages are updated in the same edit, not later.
Where Japanese law comes in
Advertising in Japan is subject to the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations, and online sales to the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions. We try to keep every claim on the site to something we can show, and the notice required by the second Act is on its own page: Notice under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act.
